Tysons Tunnel
Campaign Vehicle
Formed in 2006, TysonsTunnel.org was a coalition of the McLean Chamber of Commerce, community and business leaders, and concerned citizens formed with the goal of creating a fair and competitive bidding process for the Metrorail extension to Dulles International Airport and reopening consideration of a tunnel option for the Tysons Corner project portion. The group needed to gain the support and awareness in the community through an “Official Vehicle.” Graphics, with important campaign messaging and calls to action, were designed and wrapped over a 2003 Honda Element. The vehicle was used to distribute literature, petitions, buttons, t-shirts, and other campaign materials.
